Dr. Tina Mullener is a family medicine physician in Texas. She earned her BS in Genetics from

Texas A&M, her MS in genetics from Baylor College of Medicine, and her MD from The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Mullener loves sharing fashion and fun with women while earning funds for medical missions and can be found on Facebook @premierjewelrydoc.

Today, Dr. Mullener joins us to discuss what she's learned from the process of going through the Wholist program in 2020. She breaks down her struggles with losing and regaining weight as a type II diabetic, and how she had the knowledge to maintain a healthy lifestyle but her mindset wasn't where it needed to be prior to working with Wholist. She explains how dietary urges represent something deeper than hunger, and how we often fill voids in our lives with food. We talk about the "why" of losing weight, and how working with mindset coaches can help us prioritize our goals and keep weight off.

Dr. Hammerstedt and her lifestyle coaching team can be found at love.wholisthealth.com and @wholisthealth on Facebook and Instagram as well as the public Facebook group Curate Your Health.
